Sunrise Senior Living Chorleywood
I had a very pleasant morning at Sunrise Senior Living this morning. Chorleywood is just around the corner from Watford where Auntie Julie lives. I was performing on the second floor in Reminiscence. I knew that an Adult magic show would never work here and a Children’s Show would be patronising so I mostly performed a balloon show.
I knew that music was very popular with the residents so themed each balloon around a song or track. Under the Sea by Robbie Williams brought us the Octopus you can see in the photograph. The Monkey song ‘I wanna be like you’ obviously brought out the monkey up a tree. We did go back in time a little for some flowers with ‘Flowers that bloom in the spring.’
